LINCOLN, Neb. - Reports indicate Nebraska has picked up their first quarterback from the transfer portal.

ESPN's Max Olson reports that Notre Dame quarterback Kenny Minchey plans to transfer to Nebraska.

Minchey, as a backup, completed 20-of-26 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown in six appearances for the Fighting Irish. Minchey also ran the ball seven times for 84 yards - 12 yards per carry.

A former four-star, Minchey has two years of eligibility remaining.

Minchey comes to Nebraska after two-year starter Dylan Raiola entered the transfer portal ahead of Nebraska's appearance in the Las Vegas Bowl.
