NORFOLK, Neb.- A Norfolk Nutrition shop is proving age is just a number.
On New Years Day, 19-year-old owner Savion Ralph opened the doors to his nutrition shop called The Vibe which is located on West Norfolk Avenue.
Ralph has a passion for making healthy drink options and has been selling drinks for years now.
“I started this back in high school my senior year with tea kits and sold them out of my locker throughout the day,” said Ralph.
The shop offers an array of nutritional drinks including energy teas, protein shakes, lattes, along with many other healthy products.
Savion drew some inspiration from a nutrition shop in Omaha where he learned how to get his business on its feet and sell health products.
With there not being very many places to get a protein shake in Norfolk, Ralph wanted to provide a healthy spot where people can get healthy protein shakes without worrying about additives or sugar.
The mission of The Vibe is to provide Norfolk citizens with healthier options and bring a sense of community within the small business.
“I normally come every single day during the week on school days because I have an hour-and-a-half break. I come, study, and talk to Savion, and it is really nice,” said Madison, a customer at The Vibe.
Ralph was able to promote his business through social media on apps such as Facebook and Instagram.
His goal is to open two more stores in the next two to three years, and is currently a student at Northeast Community College.
