PILGER - A four vehicle accident west of Pilger caused extensive delays on Highway 275 Friday afternoon.

First reports of the accident came out around 4 pm. Officials were called to the bridge west of the Pilger turn, on Highway 275.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened when one driver's vehicle side-swiped another car, causing that car to hit the bridge.

The accident shut down the highway for about an hour while crews worked to clean up the mess.

Authorities say there were no serious injuries.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office, Stanton County Emergency Management, and Pilger Fire and Rescue crews responded to the scene.
