NORFOLK - A two-vehicle accident in Norfolk Sunday caused one car to catch fire.

Rescue officials responded to the accident near the intersection of West Omaha Avenue and 37th Street just after 6:30 PM. Norfolk Police say one vehicle caught on fire, and that both streets are currently blocked off from traffic.

The Nebraska State Patrol, Madison County Sheriff's Office, Norfolk Police, and Norfolk Fire and Rescue have responded to the scene. Officials have yet to confirm any injuries, but say Lifenet is on standby.
