CREIGHTON - The Neligh-Oakdale Warriors took care of the Creighton Bulldogs Tuesday night to earn their 11th win of the season.

The victory was the Warriors seventh in their last eight matches, and the tenth consecutive loss for the Bulldogs. Set one began as a back-and-forth battle, but the Warriors were able to build out an advantage, and ultimately took the set 25-14.

The Warriors largely took care of the Bulldogs in set two, coming away with a 25-11 victory. Neligh-Oakdale would not let off the gas, jumping out to a 6-0 lead to begin set three. Creighton would battle back to within three points of the Warriors, causing Neligh-Oakdale Head Coach Gale Bly to call his first timeout of the match.

The Warriors were able to get back on track following the timeout, and closed out the match with a 25-13 victory in the third and final set. Amanda Dietz, Trinity Kurpgeweit, and Shelby Pitzer all lead the way for the Warriors, while Creighton was paced by Sierra Nielsen, who recorded 10 kills.

The win improves the Warriors to 11-6, as they will return home this Thursday for a match against Summerland. Creighton falls to 3-13 with the loss, and will look to rebound on the road against Wakefield-Allen on Thursday.
