SOUTH SIOUX CITY - Saturday was all about reversing trends for the Norfolk boys basketball team.

The most obvious reversal was simply by winning the game. Norfolk's 60-36 win over South Sioux City ended a two-game losing streak.

Norfolk also did a much better job getting shots off at the rim then they had in their two games prior, shooting 12-for-22 on two-point shots, and 51.4% from the field overall.

The Panthers out-rebounded the Cardinals as well, 30-22. They had been out-rebounded over their last two games by a 55-29 margin.

Perhaps the most striking change was in bench production, led by junior Isaac Heimes' season-high 12 points.

The loss continued the losing trend for South Sioux, though, who have lost all eleven games this season for first-year head coach Jared Langel.
