Vigil Held for Ashlea Aldrich
LINCOLN - Members of the Nebraska Native American community gathered in Lincoln for a vigil in remembrance of 29-year-old Ashlea Aldrich, who died in Macy on January 7th.
The vigil was held in Lincoln at the Lincoln Indian Center on Saturday evening.
In a statement from the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, counseling services were made available to members and residents affected by the incident.
The circumstances of Aldrich's death remains under investigation by the Omaha Nation Law Enforcement Services and the FBI.
