NORFOLK, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska teen's video went viral for all the wrong reasons, resulting in a visit from police.

Norfolk Police said a 15-year-old was cited on Monday. 

Police said they were called after a video began circulating online showing the teen pointing a gun at another teen. 

Authorities said the gun turned out to be a realistic looking Glock type BB gun.

The 15-year-old was cited for disturbing the peace, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, and minor in possession of a nicotine device.

He was released to his parents.
