O'NEILL, Neb. -- A man serving time for drug and terroristic threat charges has died. 

State Corrections officials said O'Neill native, Jerry Yelli, died at the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln on Thursday. He was 60 years old. 

He'd been in prison since 2018, serving a nine to 17 year sentence for convictions out of Holt and Madison Counties = possession of meth with intent to deliver, driving under a revoked license and terroristic threats.

According to State Corrections' records, Yelli was scheduled for a parole hearing this month. 

His cause of death is unknown, but state officials said he was being treated for a medical condition.
