PIERCE, Neb. -- A Minnesota man was arrested in northeast Nebraska for over 250 pounds of marijuana. 

The Nebraska State Patrol arrested 40-year-old Coty Weber in Pierce County, Friday evening around 7:20. 

A trooper pulled over a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Weber who was known to have a suspended license, on Highway 20. 

The stop was near the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 81. 

The NSP said that during the stop, the trooper saw marijuana in plain view inside the pickup. 

When searching the vehicle, several bags of marijuana were found in the cab and bed of the pickup. 

In total, the NSP said the marijuana weight 252 pounds. 

Weber was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana - more than one pound, and possession with intent to deliver. 

He was held in Pierce County Jail.
