UPDATE: Details released from Pierce injury crash
A serious crash was reported in Pierce on Wednesday afternoon, with multiple people being transported to the hospital from the scene.

PIERCE, Neb. -- A serious crash was reported in Pierce on Wednesday afternoon, with multiple people being transported to the hospital from the scene.
The crash involved a head-on collision between an SUV and a car.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says that a car driven by 79-year-old Dennis Lichty, crossed the center line and struck the Lincoln SUV driven by 60-year-old Connie Peters.
Lichty and his passenger were transported to Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk.
Peters was treated and released at the scene.
The investigation is still ongoing.
