Another successful Christmas tree season in Norfolk
NORFOLK, Neb. -- Saturday was the last day to go out and get a Christmas tree at Aldag Acres Christmas Tree Farm in Norfolk.
The tree farm right outside of Norfolk, had a busy start to the holiday season with another good year selling trees to the community.
Terry Aldag, who runs the Christmas tree farm along with the rest of his family, said he was happy with the turnout for the holidays.
"We had a very good first weekend after Thanksgiving. We had one of the biggest days we ever had on Saturday last week," said Aldag.
Christmas tree prices raised this year, the Aldag Acres Christmas Tree Farm's prices fell right in line with the rise from last year and the year before. Aldag told News Channel Nebraska their inventory was different this year as well.
"We have an increased, but we didn't bring in any pre-cuts we normally do out of Minnesota and we didn't bring them in this year because they were going to charge more and with the help issue we have, we didn't do that," said Aldag.
The Aldag Acres Christmas Tree Farm in Norfolk will officially be closing down for the holiday season after 5 p.m. Saturday, December 4th.
