MADISON, Neb-- A beloved burrito restaurant officially closed its doors recently.

'Burrito King' in the town of Madison was open for more than 20 years before the owners decided it was time to retire. Tania Garcia, who runs a salon business called 'Looks By Tania' right next to the restaurant, talked about how much the business meant for the community of Madison.

“It really meant a lot. It was a really amazing business. Especially for kids my age. I'm pretty sure they grew up basically in Burrito King. It was amazing, “ said Garcia.

While people in Madison are sad the business is closed, Garcia said people are also treating it as a celebration for all the business has done over the years.

“It's a celebration, " said Garcia. "So, I know they are retiring. It's a really sad deal for us here in town. But, it's a celebration for them because they did give us 23 years of service," Garcia added.

The other location in Columbus will remain open.
