NORFOLK, Neb. -- Orphan Grain Train in Norfolk received a hearty donation Monday.

Grace Lutheran Church along with the community of Fairbury dropped off over 20 boxes of supplies for people in Ukraine.

Donations included diapers, baby formula, laundry detergent, clothing for adults and children, and non-perishable food items.

Heidi Steinmeyer said it's important to help people in Ukraine who've had so much taken away from them.

"We're real fortunate over here and I feel that they've had everything taken away from them. It's time for us to step up and help them," said Steinmeyer.

Orphan Grain Train has provided humanitarian relief all over the world since 1992.

They also have locations in Lincoln and Grand Island.
