Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes businesses, individuals at annual banquet

Norfolk area businesses took the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments last week with the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk area businesses took the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments last week with the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet.

This year's theme was "A Night at the Oscars," and many in attendance matched the theme by wearing tuxes and ballgowns.

In addition to Norfolk dignitaries, Gov. Pete Ricketts attended the event, celebrating the Nebraska Legislature's recently passed tax cuts.

Chamber President and CEO Austen Hagood recognized the business and community achievements of members in attendance, in addition to helping recognize members with awards.
