Carnival opens this evening in Norfolk despite hold-ups
NORFOLK -- Step right up. The carnival is opening in town.
Mike Lynch, owner of D.C. Lynch Shows, said he's excited to have traveled from Grand Island to share the 16 rides, especially under the weather conditions forecasted this weekend.
"They're all good, we have some for every age group," Lynch said.
The Sizzler is a new attraction this season. The Zipper and Crazy Dance are his most popular attractions.
There was supposed to be a second brand-new ride, delivered way back in February. But, its completion is held up in the Czech Republic, due to labor shortages.
Entry is $25. You can get an armband with unlimited rides.
The carnival opens at 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, noon this weekend, and closes next Wednesday.
Families can find the attractions at the parking lot of Sunset Plaza Mall, by J.C. Penny.
