NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Christian music festival is coming to northeast Nebraska this weekend.

On Saturday, the Christian Cross Music Festival will be held in Skyview Park in Norfolk.

This year is the 18th anniversary of the festival.

Musical artists such as Cain, Jordan Feliz, Adelaide, I Am They, and Love & the Outcome will be performing.

There will also be kayaking available in the lake as well as multiple food and drink vendors and an activity tent for children.

Dallas McKellips, one of the executive planners for the event, said one of the main goals of the festival is to bring the community together.

"This is one of those events that really emphasizes how strong we are as a community. It is really important that our community come together, celebrate together and worship together as one body and one church. That's what we try to do," McKellips said.

The festival will take place from 3-11 PM.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation.
