NORFOLK, Neb.-- The 12th annual Laugh-and-a-Half-Marathon is back and all proceeds of the race will go towards pediatric needs in northeast Nebraska.

Lydee Jo Krueger, who is the race coordinator for the event, talked about how the race will operate this year.

“We’re super excited,” Krueger said. “ It’ll be on the Cowboy Trail so just south of Norfolk. It starts in Ta-Ha-Zouka park, runs out to First Street, and then takes the jaunt down the cowboy trail and returns at the elkhorn lodge inside Ta-Ha-Zouka Park."

The half marathon runners will start at 7 a.m., the 10K is at 7:10 a.m., and the 5K is at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday morning.
