NORFOLK, Neb. -- A school in Northeast Nebraska starts the demolition process for its new remodel.

Christ Lutheran School began its remodeling process Monday.

This 1924 building remodel will include their cafeteria, gymnasium, eight classrooms and a music room.

Drew Urban, the principal of Christ Lutheran School, said this remodeling process has been talked about for a long time - probably about 20 to 30 years.

He said that their gym isn't large enough to fit their needs anymore.

Urban said that they are expecting this remodel to help continue their enrollment increase.

He also said that this gives the campus the opportunity to do more within the school and with the community.
