NORFOLK, Neb. -- Two vehicles collided in northeast Nebraska on Thursday, resulting in one minor injury.

Norfolk Police Capt. Chad Reiman provided initial details on the crash, though he said the investigation is ongoing.

The crash took place at the intersection of Highway 275 and South 25th street in Norfolk, where a white minivan was traveling westbound when a red pickup traveling eastbound turned in front of the van to try and head north on South 25th street, Reiman said. According to NPD's investigation, the minivan then made contact, t-boning the pickup.

No one in the accident has been identified, but Reiman says the white van contained a female adult driver and two children, while the red pick contained one male adult driver. Reiman said the female driver received a "minor hand injury" but that no other occupant in either vehicle received any injury.

This is an ongoing story, NCN will continue to provide updates when more information is released.
