NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Norfolk Police Division responded to a call that led to an arrest early Friday morning.

NPD said officers were sent to the 1000 block of South 13th Street on a suspicious person call at 2:50 a.m. on June 24.

The report said the caller reported a man was passed out in a vehicle and had been there for a long period of time.

Officers said they were able to contact the man and wake him up.

According to the officers, the subject showed signs of impairment as they were making contact with him.

NPD said the officers continued investigating and arrested 26-year-old Nour Koualti, of Norfolk, for driving under the influence of drugs in the 4th offense.

Authorities said a scale and a white powdery substance were found in Koualti's vehicle, the substance tested positive for cocaine.

The report said Koualti was booked into the Norfolk City jail for driving under the influence in the 4th offense and possession of a controlled substance.
