Battle Creek FCCLA group brings home the silver and gold

Battle Creek Public Schools sent FCCLA Qualifiers to California the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference, and they came back with medals.

BATTLE CREEK, Neb. -- Battle Creek Public Schools sent FCCLA Qualifiers to California for the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference, and they came back with medals. 

The National FCCLA Qualifiers are headed home with STAR medals. They attended the award session on their last day. 

Brennen Weidner, McKinley Hanson and Brittany Borchers were all awarded silver medals. Breanna Borchers was awarded a gold medal and ranked in the nation's top ten. Carli Hamilton was awarded a gold medal and was runner-up for the nation's top ten.

Battle Creek Public Schools said that the conference was a great experience for this group, and there were lots of memories made.
