Cedar County man due in court Wednesday, facing 12 counts of violating protection order
A northeast Nebraska man is due in court on Wednesday facing 12 counts of violation a protection order.

HARTINGTON, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska man is due in court on Wednesday facing 12 counts of violation a protection order.
Cedar County officials accuse 47-year-old Derek Ehlers, of Wynot, of violating a protection order 12 times between January 19th and June 26th.
According to court documents, Ehlers is alleged to have committed the violations four times in January, four times in February and four times in June.
Court documents indicate that the protection order was filed against Ehlers on December 15, 2021.
An arrest warrant was issued for Ehlers on Friday. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday morning.
