NORFOLK, Neb. -- Mimosas for a good cause!

The Women's Empowering Life Line in Norfolk was chosen as the beneficiary for this year's Mimosa Fest.

Elizabeth Johnson, the promotions director for US92 and 94Rock, said the stations are excited to partner up with a local non-profit this year.

"We are extremely excited to be partnering with a local, non-profit organization, the Women's Empowering Life Line, the WELL. This year when you purchase your limited $30 bottomless mimosa ticket or attend Mimosa Fest, proceeds will be donated to the WELL," Johnson said.

The WELL provides treatment for women and men with behavioral and co-occurring health disorders.

The organization also provides a mommy-and-me program and outpatient services.

Samantha Lindahl and Brittney Swain of The WELL told News Channel Nebraska why she believes it's important for their organization.

"This is going to help the men and women of our services get the programming they need, get the curriculums and groups needed for programming, ongoing training of staff, and provide the services overall," Lindhahl said.

"It means a lot because it means we are being recognized more in the community and the services we offer. We've grown quite tremendously so being able to offer those services to more people and letting them know what we do offer is important," Swain said.
