HADAR, Neb. -- A fire in rural Pierce County drew multiple units to fight the blaze.

Units from Hadar and Pierce responded to a blaze in Pierce County near Hadar.

According to Hadar Fire, the owner of the property was burning trash in a barrel and the embers blew in the wind, catching a wood pile.

The fire was extinguished by 1:15 p.m. There were no injuries reported.

Hadar fire reminded people to remain cautious of burning, as it continues to be dry and windy across much of Nebraska.
