Teen arrested for alleged break-in, burglary at Stanton Community Pool
STANTON, Neb. -- Authorities have arrested a teenager on burglary charges related to a break-in at the Stanton Community Pool.
According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, his office made an arrest of a 16-year-old boy from Stanton Tuesday morning.
Unger said the teen was arrested on charges of burglary, theft, criminal trespass and curfew violation.
The teen was booked on those charges after an investigation by the sheriff's office into a break-in this past weekend at the Stanton pool. Unger said cash was taken from the pool during the early-morning hours.
The suspect was released to his mother after a probation intake was completed. He is expected to make his first court appearance in August.
