NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk Public Library hosted its 27th annual library festival on Saturday.

Starting at 9 a.m., educators, parents, and book lovers filed into the library to hear from authors, get book recommendations, and see who'd win awards. This year's festival features award-winning, nationally known authors Vanessa Roeder, Varian Johnson and Ernesto Cisneros.

Youth Services Karen Drevo introduced nominees for the Barnes and Nobles Awards.

The event continues until 4:15 p.m.  It will end with door prizes and autograph signings.
