CARROLL, Neb. -- A town in northeast Nebraska is holding a car show this weekend.

The town of Carroll will be hosting its annual Cars-N-Carroll Show & Shine event this Sunday.

Classic car owners will be bringing their cars, trucks, and motorcycles to Carroll to show them off.

Organizers said they are expecting 200-300 vehicles to come to Carroll on Sunday.

Jane Dolph, the chair for Cars-N-Caroll Show & Shine, said the event is a great way to get people to visit Carroll and see what the town has to offer.

"Carroll is a small town and any time you can get people to come to Carroll and to see what's actually still in Carroll, the auditorium, the park, people love the town," Dolph said. "It's very laid back and an easy-going day. People should come out to see this because they'll be surprised since Carroll blows up on Sunday. People start arriving with their vehicles early in the morning at 8 a.m."

Gina McDonald is another event organizer and told News Channel Nebraska that a number of vendors will be lined up along Main Street and inside the Carroll Auditorium.

"We'll have several vendors inside, outside, and in the park. Come get your Christmas shopping done and there is something for everyone," McDonald said. "There will be boutiques, jewelry, cookies, wooden items, and more."

There will be plenty of other activities available such as live music, a magician and a show & shine for children.

If anyone is interested in registering their vehicle for the event, there will be in person registration at 9 a.m. or registration can be done online by visiting this link.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m.
