WAYNE, Neb. -- Two Nebraska schools are in the top five of the NCAA Division II volleyball rankings, with Wayne State remaining the unanimous choice as the nation's top team.

The Wildcats were the unanimous No. 1 selection for the second straight week with all 47 first place votes in the latest AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. WSC set a new school record with their 17th and 18th consecutive wins over the weekend in home sweeps over Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston.

UNK, meanwhile, moved up one spot to No. 5 after home sweeps against Fort Hays State and Northwest Missouri State.

The Lopers are now 17-1 on the season, with a five-set loss at Washburn as their only blemish this year. The Ichabods were the top-ranked team at the time of the match.

UNK will get a chance to avenge their only loss of the season with a home match against Washburn on Tuesday.

Wayne State, 18-0 on the season and first place in the NSIC with an 8-0 league mark, visits Augustana Tuesday evening followed by weekend road matches at Northern State on Friday and MSU Moorhead on Saturday.
