Norfolk Iron & Metal announces expansion

NORFOLK, Neb. -- One of northeast Nebraska's larger employers is getting ready for a major expansion.
Norfolk Iron & Metal announced Tuesday that they are planning a 16,300 square-foot addition to go along with a renovation of their existing space.
Company officials said the work will allow the facility to become a dedicated headquarters for the carbon steel provider.
The new facility will have improved work environments for their employees, and a new conference and training facility.
NIM Group President Arnie Robinson said, "We are excited for this opportunity to renovate and expand our Norfolk facility... Norfolk will continue to serve as our company's headquarters for many future generations, and we are excited to reinvest in the community and our local employees with this new, first-class facility."
