NORFOLK, Neb. -- Two men in their 20s were arrested after police were called to a reported loud party in northeast Nebraska.

The Norfolk Police Division said that around 3 a.m. on Sunday, they were dispatched to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of South Ninth St.

Officers said when they arrived, they found a loud party with a large number of people inside of an apartment.

While responding officers were trying to investigate the complaint, two Norfolk men, 22 and 28, reportedly crawled out of a window and tried to run away from the police.

After a foot pursuit with both subjects, NPD said they were caught and arrested for obstructing a police officer.

Both men were booked into the Norfolk City Jail.

The 28-year-old later posted bond and was released.

The 22-year-old was later transported to the Madison County Jail.
