NORFOLK - Norfolk's outside shooting carried the day, as the Panthers made ten threes in their 58-51 win over Grand Island at home on Friday.

Norfolk's shooting lifted them it what was a back-and-forth affair. It appeared the Panthers were on their way to an easy win, building an 11-point lead halfway through the fourth quarter. But Grand Island was able to trim Norfolk's lead to two, but could never get closer.

Jack Borgmann finished with 15 points and eight rebounds to lead Norfolk, while Easton Sullivan added 13 points, hitting three-of-seven from beyond the arc.

Grand Island had three players in double figures, led by Colton Marsh, who scored nine of his 14 points in the second half. Marsh added eight rebounds. Broxton Barrientos was dynamite off the bench for the Islanders, with 12 points, while 6'7 senior Kazadi Mukoma pitched in 10 points, six rebounds and four blocked shots, before fouling out with 6:06 to go in the game.
