NPD investigating threats made on social media

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Authorities said they are investigating an incident that involved a minor making threats on social media. 

The Norfolk Police Division said that minor is school-aged, and the threats were directed toward several individuals. 

NPD officers said that they were speaking with the juvenile, parents, as well as the school system, and are actively handling the situation. 

Authorities said that there is no danger to the public. 

NPD said they do ask that anyone with screenshots or social media information pertaining to the threats, contact the Police Division.
