NORFOLK, Neb. -- Two people were arrested for a felony drug charge after being stopped of debris dragging from their vehicle and causing sparks.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office said around 1 a.m. they attempted to pull over a vehicle that was traveling on Highway 275, west of Norfolk, that they noticed was dragging some sort of debris causing sparks behind it.

According to the Sheriff's Office, during the attempted traffic stop, the deputy noticed the vehicle had no license plates or transit tags.

When the deputy pulled the vehicle over and was able to speak with the occupants, authorities said it was discovered that there was an outstanding arrest warrant for the driver, 33-year-old Adeyemi Aboyade-Cole.

During a search of Aboyade-Cole, the deputy reported finding methamphetamine on Aboyade-Cole's person.

The Sheriff's Office said that more meth was found during a search of the vehicle.

In total, the Sheriff's Office seized about 30 grams of meth.

Both Aboyade-Cole and Carman were arrested and lodged in Madison County Jail for possession of meth.
