Norfolk man sentenced to almost 11 years in prison

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk man was sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for a meth-related charge.
U.S. Attorney Steven Russell said 53-year-old Dallas Sherman Rhinehart, of Norfolk, was sentenced in federal court in Omaha on March 10. He was charged for his participation in a methamphetamine drug conspiracy. Rhinehart will serve 130 months in prison along with a five-year term of supervised release after. There is no parole in the federal system.
According to court documents, Rhinehart was identified as someone selling meth in the Norfolk area in May 2020. Law enforcement set up controlled buys of meth from Rhinehart on July 6, 2020 and July 22, 2020. The total amount of meth bought was 52 grams of pure meth and 30 grams of a mixture of meth.
Officials said Rhinehart’s co-conspirators were Katherine Marie Tacheira, who pleaded guilty and is pending sentencing, and Lindsey Ann Rokahr, who pleaded not guilty and is pending trial.
This case was investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol.
