NORFOLK, Neb. -- Bands will be putting on a jam-packed show this Saturday in Norfolk.

As the name suggests, Five Bands, Five Bucks will charge audience members $5 to see five performances on Saturday, March 25.

According to Chad Barnhill, owner of the Midwest Music Center, the event has historically been popular in the area.

"This is something that was popular back in the 90s, early 2000s," Barnhill said. "I think a lot of people are really pumped about this. The bands come together and they each have about 35 to 45 minutes to play. This is an opportunity to check out bands...or become a fan."

The lineup features performances from Falling Reign, Raw Toast, Neon Lights, Rival Within, and Spelling Tuesday.

Proceeds will go to the Norfolk Public School's Senior post-prom event.

Audience members can also participate in a raffle for a guitar donated by Midwest Music Center.

During the event performances begin at 7 p.m. at "The Cove" behind the Midtown Event center.
