UPDATE: Authorities release name of Minnesota woman killed in crash near Osmond

OSMOND, Neb. -- Northeast Nebraska authorities have identified a woman killed in vehicle vs. semi accident that left one person dead.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office said they responded to an accident that happened two miles west of the Highway 20 and Highway 81 intersection on Thursday.
The Sheriff's Office said that Osmond Fire and Rescue, Randolph Fire and Rescue, Wausa Rescue, and the Nebraska State Patrol also responded to the accident.
The accident happened when a Minnesota passenger vehicle was heading west and crossed the center line, hitting a Nebraska semi tractor-trailer that was heading east, according to PCSO.
Authorities said that 49-year-old Lauri Ann Bedeaux of Minnesota was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 36-year-old male driver was transported to a hospital in Norfolk and then Omaha.
Officials said that the driver of the semi, a 71-year-old Orchard man, was taken to a local hospital and then to a Sioux City hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway 20 reopened around 12 p.m. Thursday.
