STANTON, Neb. -- Stanton County authorities pulled over a Norfolk man and a Sioux Falls woman for speeding in separate incidents on Sunday.

Stanton County Sheriff's Office said they pulled over a 36-year-old Sioux Falls woman for speeding on Highway 35 near Woodland Park.

The Sheriff's Office said that during the stop they found the woman in possession of marijuana and THC wax along with a large assortment of drug paraphernalia.

The woman was cited and released with a June court date.

Also on Sunday, around 5 p.m., SCSO said they pulled over a 32-year-old Norfolk man for going 105 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Officials said that the man was also found to be highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for a DWI along with speeding, SCSO said.

The Norfolk man was booked at the Sheriff's Office where his breath was tested and authorities said his BAC was nearly three times the legal limit.

SCSO said he was released after posting a cash bond on charges of a second-offense aggravated DUI and the speeding violation.

The man is scheduled to appear in court in June.
