NORFOLK, Neb. – Northeast Nebraskans may have seen and heard low-flying helicopters buzzing around the area on Thursday.

The flights were part of “boss rides,” with the National Guard giving employers rides and information to support the Guard and employees enlisted in the Guard.

According to the City of Norfolk and the National Guard, employers that support the military were given 10-15 rides on a tour of the area.

The helicopters could be spotted in Norfolk, Battle Creek and surrounding areas.
