Planned house fire in Battle Creek over the weekend
The Battle Creek Volunteer Fire Department put out a planned house fire this past weekend.

By News Channel NebraskaBATTLE CREEK, Neb. -- Residents in Battle Creek may have noticed a house fire over the weekend.
On Sunday, a fire started in a house inside the northeast Nebraska town.
However, fire crews were already on the scene, as they were the ones who started the fire.
The Battle Creek Volunteer Fire Department scheduled the house fire for Sunday as part of fire crew training.
