Law enforcement said they arrested a Norfolk woman for third-degree assault on Monday.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Law enforcement said they arrested a Norfolk woman for third-degree assault on Monday.
The Norfolk Police Division said they arrested 39-year-old Josie Auld after they received an assault report.
Officers said they found the victim who reported that Auld had hit her with a maintenance cart before kicking and punching her, causing a cut to the victim's arm.
The victim reported to police she did not provoke Auld, and this was a random attack.
NPD said officers found and detained Auld. Officers reported that Auld appeared irate, and was not making sense when speaking with them.
Auld was arrested for third-degree assault.
She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
