NORFOLK, Neb. -- Precipitation across Nebraska this morning has caused a number of hazards across the state.

In Norfolk police and electricity crews were called to Seventh St. and Pasewalk Ave.

There a power line had been knocked over, requiring police to shut down traffic as work began to fix the issue.

Despite this, Nebraska Public Power District is reporting no outages at this time in Norfolk or anywhere else in the state.

Still, precipitation is posing a risk to some as Madison, Pierce, and Antelope Counties were experiencing lowland flooding according to Region 11 emergency management.

Region 11 advises drivers to avoid driving on roadways with water across them.

Officials in the state say they are continuing to monitor the weather and water on the ground.
