NORFOLK, Neb. -- On Tuesday night, Norfolk Fire and Rescue responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 81, just south of the Norfolk Airport.

According to authorities, a semi-truck was on 837 road turning right to go south on to Highway 81.

Police said a gray Ford was traveling southbound on Highway 81 and did not see the truck make the turn.

The Ford reportedly slammed into the back of the trailer, causing the accident.

The driver of the Ford was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. The driver of the semi did not suffer any injuries.
