NORFOLK, Neb. -- Snow is expected in Nebraska Sunday through Tuesday. 

From the National Weather Service there is a Winter Storm Warning for the following counties: Boone, Burt, Butler, Cass, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Madison, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Platte, Richardson, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Stanton, Thurston, Washington.

Expect conditions to arrive late Sunday night. The advisory is in effect until late Tuesday. Most of the state will experience snow ranging from six to eight inches. Wind gusts are expected to reach up to 45mph. 

According to the National Weather Service, the heaviest is expected to hit the southeastern portion of the state. Travel could be difficult for the next couple of days. Road conditions could be potentially dangerous and wind dusts can take down trees. 

Temperatures are expected to drastically drop the following days after the snow. Temperatures could possibly reach the -20 to -35 degree range.
