NORFOLK - The LCC Bears improved on their already good season with another win, this time against the Eagles of LHNE.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge came into the matchup sporting a 13-7 record, while Lutheran High Northeast (4-15) tried to pick up a big win at home.

The Bears started the first two minutes of the contest on a 7-0 run, but the Eagles quickly rallied.

LCC was only leading by two or four points for most of the first half before they began to pull away as the minutes ticked down.

At halftime, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge led 28-18 and from that point on, Lutheran High Northeast couldn't close the gap.

The Bears kept the pedal down en route to a 50-34 win over the Eagles.

Bear's star freshman Rena Rasmussen scored 21 points, followed by fellow freshman standout Kaida Ericksen scoring 10. Mallory Ericksen score 7 points in the win as well.

For LHNE, Emerson Scott picked up 10 points, with Kealy Ranslem scoring 7 and Kendra Peterson tacking on 6 points.
