NORFOLK - Lutheran High Northeast has had a tremendous season so far and it continued on Tuesday night with a home win over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge.

The Eagles, after starting 14-0, entered the game 2-3 in their last five games and were in search of an opportunity to get back on track.

Meanwhile, the Bears were searching for similar success, attempting to break a five game losing streak.

From tip off to the final buzzer, LHNE was firing on all cylinders. The defense flew around and forced turnovers to help propel the offense.

A 19-5 first quarter lead for the Eagles set the tone for the rest of the contest as Lutheran High Northeast picked up win number 17 after beating Laurel-Concord-Coleridge 57-33.

Josh Rojas led the Eagles in scoring with 15 points, while both Braden Feddern and Anden Schold tacked on 12.

For the Bears, Carter Kvols led the team with 8 points. Gibson Roberts was right behind, scoring 7 points.
