NSP investigates alleged double-homicide in Bloomfield
BLOOMFIELD, Neb. -- On Tuesday morning, the Nebraska State Patrol along with the help of the Knox County Sheriff's Department, are investigating a double homicide that occurred in Bloomfield.
Police set up a two-block perimeter around the bowling alley where the alleged incident happened. Multiple people have been detained as persons of interest to the investigation. There is no active threat to the public at this time.
Names of the victims and those detained are being withheld until officials can properly notify family members. It was confirmed that two people were killed inside of the bowling alley.
In a public comment to News Channel Nebraska, one woman explained how she was on her way to work at the bowling alley before she was quickly turned around by law enforcement.
Additional details will be released tomorrow morning pending a press conference that is scheduled to be held in Bloomfield.
