LINCOLN - Clarkson/Leigh gave second-seeded Crofton all they could handle, but in the end the Warriors made enough plays to advance.

The Warriors beat the Patriots 38-32 in an overtime game dominated by smothering defense.

Crofton game-planned to take Clarkson/Leigh star Chloe Hanel out of the Patriot offense, but C/L's Brynn Settje contributed 20 to keep the Patriots in it.

The Warriors countered with a balanced offense, led by Sammie Allen's 11. Allen was also tasked most of the game with guarding Hanel.

Crofton now advances to the semi-finals for the sixth straight year.
