SIDNEY – The Red Raider Boy’s Golf Team finished third in the Sidney Invitational Wednesday at Hillside Golf Course. Sidney finished with a 353 team score, two stroke better than

 Alliance and three ahead of Chadron. Scottsbluff placed all four golfers in the top seven to run away with the team title with a 315 total. That was 27 shots better than runner-up Gering.

Tommy Dredla from Scottsbluff shot an even par 72 to win the individual title. Kimball’s Kyler Luchue fired a a four over par 76 to finish runner-up. Wisley Mocc and Noah Shaddick of Scottsbluff finished in third and fourth with 81 and an 82 respectively to give the Bearcats three of the top four places.

Sidney was paced by Logan Johnson in 11th with an 85, followed by Cole Hanley in 14th with an 86 while John Meza shot an 87 to finish in 18th. Anderson Smelley rounded out the Sidney scoring with a 95 to end up 29th out of 47 competitors.
