NORFOLK, Neb. -- The city of Norfolk is looking for volunteers to help clean up their community.

The seventh annual "Clean the Fork" Day is set for April 20, at 10 a.m. starting at North Fork Outfitting.

At this location, volunteers will be registered and pick up equipment before being sent out in teams across the community to clean the river including Ta-Ha-Zouka Park, Skyview Park, and Norfolk Skate Park.

Volunteers are asked to bring their equipment for the clean-up including rakes, grabbers, bug spray, sunscreen, and boots. 

Trash bags and gloves will be provided.

After the event concludes, a volunteer picnic will be held at North Fork Outfitting at 12 p.m.
